How do I return an item or cancel service?
REFUND & RETURN POLICY:
If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact Customer Support immediately. Items that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or refund. All packing supplies and shipments have tracking information.
NOWSHIP Boxes are sent to customers in sets of four. Excluding Business Class, all services and shipping is non-refundable. Additional supplies sent to customers cannot be returned or refunded.
As of July 2017, all changes to bookings will require prepayment plus change fee ($75.00USD). Balance on account will be used against change order with change fee plus additional amount due and invoiced separately.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Excluding Business Class Service, standard bookings are not refundable and a credit will be issued for later use.
- No refunds will be provided for the following products/services: crates, packing supplies
- Cancellation of Shipping Insurance: If policy is active and shipment has begun transport, no cancellation will be allowed.
- Cancellation of Shipping Services: If shipment has not been collected and not departed the origin collection address, cancellation in schedule is possible and a credit to your account will be held for up to 90 days. If credit is used within time frame, adjustments to current rates may apply, booking change fee of $75 will apply.
- All bookings where partial or whole services provided, pack systems ordered, pack systems delivered, custom orders placed are non-refundable. NOWSHIP will issue a credit for a period of up to 3 months.
WHY ARE PACKING SUPPLIES NOT RETURNABLE FOR REFUND:
- Carriers will not accept used packing supplies
- Packing supplies are considered used when returned from customer
- Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to pickup if pickup service is scheduled or survey is scheduled. An administrative fee of $125.00 will apply and refund will be less $125.00USD the amount purchased for transportation services and $25.00 administrative restocking fee for products and any refund will be less $25.00 USD.
- No refunds will be provided for the following products/services: services rendered, crates, packing supplies
- Customers agree that no chargeback will be initiated, if customer pursues chargeback, customer agrees that a $150 fee in addition to the original book price will be paid to NOWSHIP.
WHAT HAPPENS IF PERSONAL GOODS ARE ABANDONED:
- A LETTER OF ABANDONMENT IS REQUIRED RELEASING GOODS TO BE SOLD IN MARKET TO MITIGATE BOOKING FEES, STORAGE CHARGES & ADDITIONAL DISPOSAL FEES will be charged to the credit card on file.
- -IF NO LETTER OF ABANDONMENT IS SENT, NOTIFICATION OF ABANDONMENT WILL BE PUBLICLY PUBLISHED BY AFFILIATED STORAGE/WAREHOUSE
- -ALL ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE TO SELL USED GOODS AT THE HIGHEST PRICE TO OFFSET ACCOUNT IN DIRECT OR CERTIFIED AUCTION
- -WAREHOUSE LIEN PLACED AGAINST GOODS
- -SURVEY GOODS & VALUATION
- -ADVERTISING OF GOODS FOR SALE VIA AUCTION FACILITATOR OR DIRECTLY
- -NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT OF GOODS AND VALUATION
- -IF SALE OF PERSONAL EFFECTS RESULT IN LESS THAN OFFSET AMOUNT, INVOICE SENT TO CUSTOMER
- -IF SALE OF PERSONAL EFFECTS RESULT IN MORE THAN OFFSET AMOUNT, PAYMENT ARRANGED TO CUSTOMER VIA CHECK OR ACH
